I took AP bio and i did very well. How do you recommend studying so i can get an 800 on bio? and which should i take? i hear M has the better curve.

Honestly, the difference between an 800 and a score in the high 700s comes down to luck. I have friends who studied their hearts out and pulled 790s because they missed one too many questions.

As for the curve, there’s no “better curve”; it varies between administrations. Just do what you’re stronger at.

the curve for M is typically 78/80 = 800
while it is certainly better than the curve for lit, its pretty crappy for those aiming for the prefect score.

Bio has a bad curve, and is one of the hardest to get a 700 on. It requires a lot of memorization, and CB is known to test a various number of topics.

whats a good test to get 800 on ?

Math 2/Chem

An 800 in bio is very difficult. An 800 in chem is mediumish.

800 in Math 2 or physics depends on the student.

What makes you say that? According to the only official released curves, the Chemistry test requires a slightly higher percentage correct for an 800 than either Biology test does.

^Look at the curves in the CB book.

Bio and Chem have terrible curves when compared to Math 2, Physics, World history, U.S. history.

That was my source. I was wondering what made you say that Biology was easier than Chemistry to achieve an 800 on.

^ Bio and Chem are equal in difficult, both are hard to get an 800 on, it’s just that the curves are different.
