Emailing a College admissions officer?

<p>I visited Marist last weekend and I really like it and want to go there. I have heard that emailing the admissions officer that you see that day is a good idea to show your interest. Should I do this and what should I say? Just tell them that I have interest in their school and thank them? In a week a representative from Marist is visiting my high school, would it be a good idea to e-mail that representative actually picking me from my high school? both?</p>

<p>You could e-mail them telling about your experience you had there. This is a good time for you to ask questions and to let the counselor know a little more about you. Best of Luck!</p>
