Emailing to Inquire About Letters of Rec, and Sending Extra Form

Hi,

I'm hoping to get an opinion on two things.

First, would it be okay to email admissions asking if letters of recommendation have been received? The Application Status doesn't list these and I'd rest easier knowing everything has been received. I just don't want to be perceived as a nuisance to those responding to emails.

Second, my College Official's Report is listed as not received though my school mailed it at the end of the February. Other schools list the Report as being received on March 7. Should I be concerned? Also, I received a second Report from another school I attend. Should I mail this second Report as insurance in case the first never made it?

Any thoughts will be much appreciated. Thank you.

If anything was missing, this late in the process they would have already contacted you. Since they did not, the safe assumption is that they read your file fully and a decision has already been reached.

The likely scenario is that your docs’ status was not updated. It’s not in anyone’s interest to leave files incomplete.
