I know that at this point updates are very unlikely to be seen by committee, but I thought I'd send this one in just in case.

Is there a specific email (to my own aloofness, I can't locate one online) to which updates should be directed?

Thanks!

admissions@mit.edu worked for me. They reply within a few days (I think I got a reply the next day) and they said the letter would be added to my file.

admissions at mit dot edu is the correct email.

For future reference, the contact info for the admissions office can be found at the bottom of the admissions webpage.

I find out if I qualify for the finals round of my city’s science fair tomorrow (Friday). Is it possible to email admissions and have it added to my file. What should I do?

Thanks!

Although this is pure speculation, I think it might be too late for updates to be seen by the committee (decisions are being released in less than one week…). But I say send it in anyway; it can’t hurt, and who knows, it might just help you out!

I would email admissions@mit.edu and inform them of the update. Hope that helps.
