Are awards earned at the local level in various competitions or placing in regional science fairs, for example, taken into consideration at this point in the admissions process?</p>

<p>You can send any updates you’d like. For MIT, it is rather late in the admissions process – by this time, the admissions officers have probably been in selection committee for a few weeks.</p>
<p>So I’m planning to fax in some updates on Tuesday… probably too late but it can’t hurt?</p>
