When did u find out about scholarships for 2020-2021 applicants? I’m also very confused about tuition. I thought the school was private. I think the OOS tuition is $58 per year.
Tution: $38,114 per year
Room & Board: $12,410 per year
Total: $50,524
Your $16,000 scholarship will reduce if you keep up your grades and maintain a certain number of classes to qualify as a full-time student.
Of course it depends on the program your student is applying. They are significant fees for flying hours and simulator hours if they are studying aviation. However, if they are studying a program like engineering, they you won’t have those.
We are out-of-state as well, so I don’t know anything about instate or potential in-state.
Caleb got a letter in the mail just yesterday regarding scholarship and it was probably about a week ago that he got his acceptance “box” thing that they sent him.
Does anyone know where statistics show how much is normally given for scholarships - the only thing I can find is on the website that states one can receive scholarships up to $5,000. I couldn’t find a thing about a “presidential” scholarship, so confused on the process- I am sure it’s not difficult to figure out if you are looking in the right area. I obviously am not. I guess I willl schedule a meeting with the school to find out the specifics. I am glad he reviewed a scholarship- but I don’t want him going there if it’s something that is handed out quite easily so students attend and pay the difference…that’s still ALOT of money.
Thank you for your response!
