"EMERGENCY" got reply for email from professor for research

<p>I need to go meet him again in an hour or so.. please anyone answer this question?</p>

<p>After applying many different professors, one of the professors responded to me to come </p>

<p>to his office to discuss about the research experience.</p>

<p>I don't know whether I am accepted or not, but he told me to look over the projects that </p>

<p>he has been supervising and gave me a list.</p>

<p>What I want to ask is: What was your first research experience like? Was it hard?</p>

<p>He told me to apply for this "research project course" and choose which semester I </p>

<p>wanted to be in.</p>

<p>I am not the smartest guy in the world and I'm more like an average student...</p>

<p>I'm not sure whether I can apply any knowledge into this.</p>

<p>Don’t worry. Just do your best and ask for him to help you when you really need it. Ask him as well if there is anything he expects you to know. Good luck!</p>

<p>I just went to meet him again, and he told me to write a “detailed proposal” something that goes along with the abstract.</p>

<p>Has anyone done this?</p>
