Emergency payment help

<p>OK, so my EA's priority deadline is Oct. 15 (tomorrow), and I was planning on submitting my app today. I made the payment, but it sent me an email confirming and saying it could take up to two days to update the information on the Common App. I didn't know it would take so long to update, and I can't get to the signature portion without having an updated payment status, so I can't submit my app! Is there any way I can get my app in on time? HELP PLEASE</p>

<p>Try going back & creating another Common App preview & then going to the next step (“submit” or whatever it says). I had the same issue but when I tried this a couple of days later, I got a msg that I had already paid & then got the signature page.</p>

<p>Send a brief, non-hysterical email to the school asking what they’d like you to do. Everyone is having the same problem, so the school will have to figure out how to handle it.</p>

<p>Whatever you do, don’t pay twice. It won’t help.</p>

<p>If you must do something after sending the email, I’d suggest eating ice cream. I can’t guarantee that it’ll help, but it can’t hurt! :)</p>

<p>philhenderson95 - My DD ran into this issue a few weeks ago. It didn’t take 2 days. The payment was processed the next day. In fact, it may only take a couple of hours. Keep trying and Good Luck…</p>

<p>Thank you all for responding! I tried paying a second time, and it worked the second time. Common App says they’ll refund any duplicate payments, so it all worked out! :)</p>
