My son got in for Media Arts production. Zero merit aid. I thought he had a chance. Did anyone get any? I thought I read that a third of kids get something.

Under the merit scholarship decision section it just says “If you’ve applied to the Honors Program, your application is still under consideration. Our final decision will be posted to your portal by April 1.” Do you think that means I didn’t get in and they’re just being nice?

I applied early action. Got into the media arts production major, also got the half-tuition scholarship yay

I applied under the Political Communications Major and got in, but didn’t receive any merit aid or a spot in the honors program. Disappointing , but then again there are only 50 honors spots. Congratulations to those who received a spot in the honors program! Still have hope that I’ll get in by the April deadline. Georgetown decision on Monday is next!

Hi guys! I’m a junior but I’ll be in your shoes next year (Emerson is my top choice). If you guys don’t mind, would you post your stats along with the admissions decision? Thank you so much! :)

I was accepted,.
SAT: 1890
ACT: 29
GPA: 3.58
I hope that helps, if you have any more questions feel free to ask me

I was accepted to the Marketing Communicstions program!
GPA: 3.85
ACT: 24
Tons of clubs and other activities. I also submitted a long resume!

I was accepted into media production:
GPA: 3.2
SAT: 1860
Lots of activities, leadership experience, and volunteering. Oh, and I also did a program at Emerson over the summer, so that definitely didn’t hurt.

I got accepted into media production track:
GPA: 3.3
ACT: 25

accepted EA to Communication Studies with Dean’s Scholarship
GPA 3.87
SAT 2160

Didn’t apply Early Action out of fear that I wouldn’t be good enough. (GPA is like a 4.7 on my school’s 5.0 scale but SAT is only a 1990). Glad you guys all had so much success! I’m aiming for the WLP program.

As far as the honors program, I would hope that they wait until they see all applicants to decide? Probably not, but it’s wishful thinking.

I got into WLP!
GPA: 3.96 weighted
SAT: 2050
Lots of leadership and extracurriculars

@jjmopp Your stats are better than mine and I got in. They have already started accepting kids into the honors program but there are still spots left.

Anyone concerned about the upcoming 4 year construction project?
