emerson or northeastern?

what do you think people in a Northeastern forum are going to say?

it would be more helpful if you said your financial situation and your intended major. Overall however NEU is a more prestigious school.

Not if the major were film, musical theatre, BA acting or some other specialties that Emerson offers

NE take advantage of that CO-OP

i heared the teachers are awesome in emerson; they are tolerant and stuff. and there is always a closeness becuase the classes are so small...

^ what do you mean by "tolerant and stuff"? lol

depends what kind of environment you're looking for. NU is pretty big and has a lot of different majors, clubs etc whereas emerson is smaller, which means more limited choices.

no that's not what i mean...i mean teachers help out a lot there (grades etc.)

Two very different schools. NEU has a true campus, Emerson, not so much. However, Emerson has some unique strengths - what are you interested in?

I'm interested in film critic but my major will be sociology if I go to NEU,

but i dont know it might be harder than emerson if it's a lot of reading based exams rather than in emerson, it is more creative, more papers than exams and more communication based (presentations)... and the teachers are very helpful over there if your english is not so good like me.

There are a lot of students at NEU who are not native English speakers. However, film critic suggests Emerson to me.

I agree if film is your passion, you might be better off at Emerson

Emerson. Film and similar arts is what Emerson does, and is very good at.

My daughter was deciding between NEU and Emerson for TV production and finally chose Emerson. Co-op was a big draw but Emerson had the actual classes, facilities and internships. When we went to accepted students day at NEU the Communications Dept. presentation wasn't very impressive. Too bad, it was a much better financial aid packlage!

I think i'll be studyng cinema studies in neu i know film is really good at emerson but there are production classes and all, i only want film analysis, critic courses..
