Emerson Wait Listed--Looking for Past Info

<p>My D was waitlisted today at Emerson College, which is her current first choice (she was EDII at NYU, but it was a reach and she did not get in.) Emerson is really where she wants to go, and so I'm wondering if anyone knows historically how they are with admitting waitlists. She's in at Drexel, Ohio U and Columbia Chicago, waiting to hear from Pratt, probably the second choice, but I think her heart is set on Emerson. </p>

<p>She has additional letters of rec and some film materials to send in, but I'm just trying to get a sense of if this will be a real possibility. Anyone have experience here?</p>

<p>My boyfriend was also waitlisted. On Emerson’s website it says it depends on how many people enroll but some years they’ve had up to 200 get off the waitlist and sometimes none get off it. So it’s really up in the air. She probably won’t hear anything until after May 1st when everyone is schedules to commit. Good luck to her!</p>
