Emma Watson harassed by Harvard students at football game... slow day.

Damn, I'm bored.

Harvard Magazine starts campaign to harass Emma Watson

Page Six reported on Tuesday that the "Harry Potter" starlet and Brown University freshman looked "quite shaken" on Saturday as Harvard beat Brown 24-21 in Cambridge. Watson was reportedly flanked by security guards to protect her from gawkers.

But her discomfort was actually the result of a targeted campaign by the Harvard Voice student magazine to draw as much attention to her as possible.

Before the game, a blog post on the mag's Web site said: "We will be Live-Tweetin' the game and possibly stalking Emma Watson, so keep your eyes peeled for that, too!" A succession of tweets posted on the Voice's Twitter account during the game followed, including, "Let's go Hermione! Lolz," a reference to Watson's character in "Harry Potter." It went on, "In enemy territory. Lookin for a certain witch," and, "WATSON FOUND. i repeat WATSON FOUND."

Poor girl. :frowning: I hope she’s enjoying school otherwise.

Typical obnoxious preppy attitude. I’m not surprised.

Extra! Extra! Harvard students need to get laid - harass girl they’ve been beating off to since she was 15 (or whatever the hell she was).

Like 11. >.<

I’m in Providence so I’ve heard people say that they saw her in the area at restaurants and stuff.

Thats so sad. I feel so bad that she can’t have a real college experience :(

ahahahaha

Pretty sure she only became hot in the third movie, so she must’ve been 14 at least, right? Anyway this is pretty depressing, I think people should expect better of Harvard students.

I heard Yale did something similar (rumor, don’t know if it’s true.) when she was touring the campus as a prospective and when she entered one of the dining halls, everyone started taking pictures of her with their cell phones.

Well if that’s the case it’s no wonder she went to Brown.

Oh god!!!The poor girl!!!It’s so rude…she must very sad about it!!!But she went to Brown…

It’s a shame the losers had nothing better to do. Who pulls that crap at a football game?

/ she has more money than 100% of college students

So? I’d say she’s about on equal footing with all the spoiled brats whose parents pay their whole way. :P

It makes me so sad that we’re such obnoxious little crazy people about celebrities. I mean, I get just as excited as everyone else about “sightings”, but you have to remember that they’re PEOPLE. Poor Emma Watson is going to be ridiculed for the rest of her college career, and it’s not even on purpose… :-(

If she is actually coxing and people find out, the regattas in the spring are going to be crazy

Good point. I have a hard time feeling too sorry for her. I do feel sorry for the guys, though - being that dumb can’t be easy…

emma watson! :>

Ahh, the cost of being famous.

While I do find such behavior immature, it’s not too surprising.

Even I engage in such behavior, to a limited degree. I asked a friend at Brown last month to take a picture of her on campus and post it on Facebook. My friend recalls that she realized that she was being photographed and turned away from the camera almost immediately. The picture only showed her back…

I met her. She is the biggest snob you can imagine. And her british accent only makes it that much worse.
