<p>What do u CC'ers think of the emo trend, particularly in the music industry. I really like emo music...not sure why...anywho what do u think. if ur not familiar with emo i could explain for u.</p>

<p>I have emo glasses. I forgot they were emo when I got them. Then I wore them and I was like, "wait, this makes me emo."</p>
<p>But I'm not emo. Ask most of my female friends. I have no feeling. :)</p>
<p>Man, so many people nowadays are posing as emos. Why do they think being emo is cool?</p>

<p>GreenDayFan I'm kinda like you. I like some emo music but I dont act or dress like that, actually quite the opposite. Anyway I think the music is cool and everything but like anything else its a trend thing. The same can be said for Rap music and begin ghetto or 60's 70's and rock music with hippies. Stuff like this happens. The masses are to easily influenced.</p>
<p>I think dressing up all emo, and writing poems for your ex who broke your heart is very very very pathetic. On the other hand I love the music, especially if its really mellow and melodic. I actually have my own emo band...but none of the band members are "emo" in the dress and acting sense.</p>
<p>Pathetically, I like some emo music. Of course, you'd have to be insane to say I'm emo.</p>
<p>I like some emo music (some in small doses) but I hate the "everything is dark and I hate life" thing. Eh so annoying. Get over it!</p>

<p>I have never heard the band and don't plan on it since I am too fixated on hip-hop and J-pop now.
And I was unaware that there was a new trend, so I will have to figure out what the hell the bases of the 'emo' trend are.</p>
