I’ll be attending Essence of Emory :)

Can someone post a copy of the rejection email? I’m not doing anything mean I need it for a book LOL Thanks

so, if you are not urm, you have to wait until april 1 to see your decision. That’s odd, none of my other colleges do that

When are Emory decisions coming out?

Also, are they online or via mail?

It comes out on April 1st on OPUS

Most decisions have already been sent. Check your Opus account :-)

To everyone attending Essence of Emory, you’re missing school, right?

@funtertraining15, that’s only for URMs. We white folks have to wait.

funtertaining, what you said about decisions being released is borderline ■■■■■■■■. please be careful next time, i actually got excited and checked my opus

Last year they came out on the 27th! I hope that means that they’re coming out soon! Ahh us poor Asians/Whites have to wait :/

Ughh… I did the same thing aetasaeterna. I just nearly dropped my laptop when I read that

How about Oxford notifications? Any chance they might be released early? :)

I am Hispanic(Spain) and White? And I have not received the URM email or anything so does that mean they just classified me as White? On my common app I selected Hispanic and White? I also didn’t apply for financial aid if that matter?

seriously, i thought i got rejected because of that ■■■■■ post. That is not funny.

Hey now everyone. Maybe he just didn’t know that it was only URMs that received their decision. Okay so you checked and nothing happened right? Cut him some slack and quit with the cyber hate.

^well said ak7777 :)

Fairfield county i have a similar situation as you, i am not sure if they classified me as a urm. because i didnt get a decision yet, they told me i would know april 1st so i am not sure. i guess i will just have to wait :(

Nutella 12, yeah I got an email and it said April First also! I hope I was classified as URM! I did not ever know that URM’s had different release dates! But know that I think about it I did get my acceptance to a school up in NYC really quickly and on that app I did only put Hispanic because by accident I skipped over the white box! People get so confused when I say I am Hispanic because I have my moms last name and then my dads last name and both are super Irish names but my dad’s mother was Hispanic! I wrote my supplement about growing up in a Hispanic-Irish Catholic house and exposing my self to diversity.

so stupid how college admissions favors URMs so much

admissions should be based on your merits and accomplishments, not your ethnicity
