you’re right emory doesn’t calculate freshman year grades in their GPA, which is good for you. those grades will be on your high school transcript, so they will still see them. after visiting last year it seems that emory adcoms don’t give the freshman year grades much weight. also you have really unique extracurriculars and with that in mind i think emory is a high match/low reach for you because they are one of the top 20 that is truly holistic based.
