Emory Financial Aid - Question!

Hi!

I got accepted to Emory as a transfer undergraduate student, and was wondering 2 things about the financial aid award I got. It is called the "Emory College Grant" on Opus (the Emory account system) and I think it should be from the actual college that I would be attending in Emory (College of Arts and Sciences).

Questions:
1) Is this amount renewable/guaranteed every year if I reapply for financial aid?
2) Is this amount able to be increased in future years if I continue my education at Emory?

Thanks!

1) No, like at most schools you have to reapply for financial aid each year.
2) It can increase or decrease, primarily depending on you and your family’s financial situation. Also, if you bring in significant outside scholarships that can also decrease the amount of Emory College Grant you get.

Also, how much you receive changes every year but it won’t go from a bunch of aid to not too much unless your family suddenly becomes much wealthier or something.
