hahah really TJC? dang…I thought college food would be better than highschool food…

It is, it can just get a bit… repetitive sometimes, if that makes sense. There are options at Emory though so it really isn’t as horrible as everyone likes to make it.

Of course it gets repetitive, what does one expect. It’s not a 5 star restaurant. The quality of the food, even if repetitive, is still significantly higher than most HSs. However, your right in that you can simply choose elsewhere.

Also, Emory’s food in the DUC is actually more solid than a lot of places. I just think that many people are disappointed given how much the cost of attendance is, but many other top privates suffer the same fate (like apparently Duke is quite bad, or at least it was when my friend who attends here visited while applying. And she actually prefers Duke to Emory and mainly didn’t go due to $ and some other issues). The DUC could be much worse.

I thought it was going to be amazing…dang…oh well at least you can go to other restaurants for lunch…how far are those* places from emory?

Does anyone know the plan for the April 4 open house? I am going and I can’t wait! It should be fun, can’t wait to meet you guys!

…from the other days…

http://www.emory.edu/admission/admission/decisions/april_invite.pdf

Oh yayyy, I’m going!
Idk if it’s only for ED or what… I don’t see much point in ED kids going to an open house considered they’ve already committed to attending. I applied for the Scholars Program though, and although I didn’t get in I was a semifinalist and got a Liberal Arts Scholarship. So I’m pretty certain I’m going to Emory after I heard from all the other schools. Can’t wait for Open House!

Same with me musicmaniac07. I was also a semifinalist and given a liberal arts scholarship. Will it just be other semifinalists there? Or will there also be RDers and EDers too?

@musicmaniac, we ED kids go in to sit in on classes.

well April 4th is for ED people and i think april 5th or later on in the week is for the RD people…i think its split off…i think…you need to make a reservation…

Class visits aren’t just for EDers. All of the open houses allow for kids to visit classes I’m pretty sure.

Im just happy cuz I dont have to look at my highschool for a change…

I just got in RD and I’m going on April 4th!
