Since my daughter has started this semester, relatives have sent probably 10-12 letters to her Emory post office box. Of those letters, she has received two. Has anyone else had any problems with mail delivery? We have sent boxes, which she has to sign for, and have not had any problems. But it seems anything small enough to go into the post office box, comes up missing. We have double and triple checked with everyone to be sure they have the right p.o. box number. My wife has called, and the woman she talked with was rather abrupt and rude.

My daughter is a freshman, so we don't know if this is fairly common or if this is unusual. We have started telling grandparents, aunts and cousins to just stop sending her mail, which is sad since she is far away from home and likes their correspondence.

We are having the same problem. Packages are fine but anything going to the mailbox gets lost. Family members have sent cards and letters that our daughter never received. She is going to check her box once more next week and then I’m also going to contact mail services. I figured I would call the individual responsible for Emory mail services rather than calling the hotline.

Yes, there is a problem with Emory post office. I sent several letters last year that did not make it. Packages have all made it, but letters do not. If I need to send S a letter, I send it with signature required.

Simply, Yes. I have experienced the same problems. I also read today that an investigation is being carried out over stolen mail and that an employee has been identified. However, the problem is persisting and I was supposed to receive an insurance card (something not so dissimilar from a gift card), shipped from SC last week. I have emailed mail services about the issue.

In addition, I have many friends here who have not been receiving mail and, as a matter of fact, I have received 0% of the paper mail I have expected this year.

When I called I was told they only had a few complaints this year. The woman I spoke with checked my daughter’s box and the surrounding boxes and reported she could not find anything. Not much help. Another parent told me to call Rich Lee who is supposed to be in charge of the mail services as he is keeping track of the number of complaints. His contact can be found here: [Contact Us](Contact Us)

My wife left a voice mail for Debra Lewis, who is listed as being in charge of student mail services, and has never heard from her. Perhaps we need to try Rich Lee.
