<p>I'm curious to know the average statistics (test scores in particular) of people who have received this award, plus what extracurriculars they've done, etc.</p>

<p>at an info session, stat question came up....short answer, gpa 3.9+, and 1500+ SAT (old ver)....</p>
<p>From what students posted on CC this spring, it seems that gpa and scores were among the most important criteria, as I think that everyone who got Emory Scholars had the kind of stats that bluebayou described. </p>
<p>There also were students with those stats who posted who didn't get Emory Scholars. Seems clear that the scholars program is designed to lure away admits from HPYS.</p>
