No, LAS recipients are not part of the Emory Scholars program. I know because I am one and the letter says it explicitly...:(

Well, it's hard to get...

I just checked my e-mails for the day and I'm a finalist too. Where are other finalists from? Also, I'm a chemistry major.

i havent received anything either....

stats:
2110 SAT (lol)
800 SAT Math II, 800 SAT Bio, 800 SAT Chem,
4.0 GPA

I've noted a 13K and a 15K Liberal Arts Scholarship here. It looks like they have bumped the range up from 10-14K to something higher. If anyone has received a LAS out of the range of 13-15K it would be useful if you would add that information. I think that all semi-finalists receive at least this level but it would also be helpful if any semifinalists who did not receive at least a LAS would also post that information. This thread will be useful information for next year's applicants.

Humaneater,

Did you just take the SAT once. Your scores, while fine, seem out of line with your SAT II's and your GPA. Also did you report AP scores on your application? Also were your CR and M scores higher than the W score?

i got LAS for 11k so they didn't completely bump up the range

i haven't received an email or anything! i'm freaking out! does anyone know if they are still sending emails?

i'm sure they just haven't sent e-mails/ decided on all of them cuz i think there's at least three or four people on this thread (including me) that are still waiting. i really think this is a departmental issue- english picking their finalists before music, for instance? Does that seem right?

Finalist, going to the scholars weekend. Congrats to everyone else!
