Emory Scholars Update

I was just sent this email from Emory:

Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for submitting your scholarship application to Emory University. The Admission Committee has been busy reviewing nominations for Emory Scholars and Goizueta Scholars programs. Due to recent inclement weather, Emory University has closed, and we have experienced delays in the processing and review of Scholars Nomination materials. As a result, we will delay the release of Scholars decisions until Saturday, January 22nd.

As soon as the weather permits, we will continue to process incomplete applications. If your admission application and Scholars nomination materials are still incomplete, please understand that your materials may be at Emory and may be waiting to be processed and updated by our staff. Your patience is appreciated as we recover from the University closure and sort through incoming materials.

We look forward to reviewing your Scholars application materials and wish you the best of luck in our scholarship selection process.

Sincerely,
Jean D. Jordan
Dean of Admission
Emory University

Does this mean we receive the decision online? I thought it was through mail.

Haha okay, I’ll reply. I’m not certain. I’m pretty sure it is both on OPUS and by mail. By the email I’d assume it’s on OPUS on the 22nd and then they’ll mail it that day also (based on last year’s applicants at least).

Sorry, didn’t see this, haha.
I really have no idea. OPUS would be so much more convenient rather than having to wait agonizingly over the letter to arrive.
But by the looks of the email, it sounds like both.
:)

I hope the weekend doesn’t get pushed back either!! uhh this snow is getting annoying now! :(
