<p>On OPUS, is it indicated anywhere that you applied to the Scholars program? I submitted everything before the deadline but I didn't get the confirmation email until today. For me it says Undergraduate Emory College on OPUS but nothing about Scholars. I'm just a little paranoid haha I would like to know for sure that my app went through. Thanks :) </p>

<p>I submitted mine on the November 15 deadline which is a bit risky but to my understanding the deadline is the last day you can submit it so that should be okay right …? I have the same concern because I just got my confirmation email today marked November 18 so I’m not sure if I actually made the deadline for the Scholars program or not .: </p>
<p>In 2010 Emory Scholars Finalists were told in December. It would be nice if that happened again this year. </p>

<p>No. We received 2 emails: the first one was an Emory Scholars Update discussing the time line for students who applied - received that a few weeks ago, and the second email was a financial aid reminder. Emory Scholars notifications have not been sent out yet. </p>
Do any potential scholars have changes or updated info on OPUS? Also- when applying for Emory Scholars are they also making a decision to accept/ reject/ waitlist if you are not chosen as a scholar, or do they make that decision later?

Does anybody know if they only choose Emory Scholars during the selection process and all of the non-scholars simply get placed back into the RD or ED 11 decision pool, or are they also making admissions decisions for those not chosen as a scholar but those applicants won’t find out until April ( admit, deny, wait list) or February? i would imagine that those not chosen to be an Emory Scholar will be placed into their decision plan of choice and their application will be looked at again? Just curious.
@twogirls I think they’d stick you back in the pool because of things like Mid-year grades, which could affect the outcome. Just a guess though. And what I’m hoping for

Also I do not think they would make decisions ( acceptance/ waitlist / deny ) on RD non-scholars chosen kids before they have a chance to look at the ED 11 kids and the RD kids who did not apply by the Nov 15 scholars deadline. It just seems fair that everybody not chosen as a scholar is simply placed back into their chosen plan- either ED 11 or RD.
Applicants from previous years have reported changes to their portals before decisions came out- links etc that never worked and now do with updated information. Anybody have that going on or were those " glitches" fixed?
yes, thats how we read it too.
My portal looks the same. Never had any glitches either.
