<p>Emory University is giving me a free application and I'm considering applying to there oxford college. Now I'm a 2.8 student, with 21 ACT, but with great EC's. And as you can see, me getting into a top college isn't going to happen. Should I consider applying to Emory University's Oxford College? Thus I can go two years and transfer into Emory automatically.</p>

<p>is it a separate college from emory completely, or do the two school interact. for example.... are the oxford kids and the emory kids completely separated or are they sort of blending in together. Would an oxford student socially interact with an emory student?</p>

<p>Just note that Oxford College is a dramatic change of landscape for most people who want to go to Emory.</p>
<p>Oxford College is a good 20-30 miles outside of Atlanta and away from Emory. Oxford is it's own self-standing liberal arts college under the branch of Emory University. It's sit on the site of Emory's old campus before the school moved to it's current location in Atlanta. </p>
<p>It's not a polar experience compared to Emory College, but it is drastically different. 580 students, limited programs (only Natural Sciences, Humanities (Arts), Math, History, Social Sciences, and Dance), and in a rather rural setting. Make sure you take a good look at Oxford College before you apply to it, many applicants, from what I've heard make the mistake of applying to it as a safety/start up program for Emory, not realizing that it is a seperate and very different school from main campus.</p>
<p>I also received the special Emory online application but it didn't they didn't mentionthat it was free.</p>
<p>Are those stats for all of Emory or just Oxford, because their SATs range is closer to the 1400s.</p>
