Emory vs. Wesleyan

Hey everyone, I'd just like your opinions on these two Universities.

I'm in NY, so Wesleyan has the advantage of proximity while Emory has the weather. I don't really know what I'm most academically interested in, but the highest probability is that I major in political science. Overall I'm politically in the center, but I have strong opinions either way. I definitely want the intimate college campus feel, but I still want there to be enough to make all four years a great experience. I don't really like the whole frat-boy attitude...but then again I probably won't find much of that at either college. Any thoughs on which of the two would be a better match for me? Or at least your opinions on both/either schools?

They're both fine schools--academically, approximately equal.

Wesleyan sounds more your speed in terms of atmosphere.

I would think Wesleyan is considered a little more highly regarded and seems like it would be generally more suited to you.

If you are politically in the center and your politics are important to you, Emory might be a better fit. Wesleyan leans more to the left but they have a real sense of community and there is intermingling within the various groups. Both have very good reputations.
