I was recently accepted to Emory's Oxford Campus and waitlisted to their main Atlanta campus. I'm not totally sure if I want to go to Emory. If I accept the waitlist status and then later decline to go there, does this take away someone else's chance to go to Emory (as in, they are also on the waitlist)?

Actually, if you have other offers, you should care these offers at first, because you are not sure whether you really want to attend Emory. Meanwhile, education in Oxford is different from that in main Atlanta campus. My friends in Oxford told me that they can hardly achieve a high GPA.

If you want to change your college after attending Oxford, it would be a little hard for you to transfer to another university//

@Kplanchow: No, it wouldn’t because you usually don’t need a super high GPA to transfer, especially to schools (even private ones) with a decent transfer in rate. Being between 3.2 and 4.0 is usually acceptable for schools that aren’t low transfer in (or aren’t as selective with freshman admissions). Whenhen transferred from Oxford for example.

I was accepted off the waitlist this afternoon!
