For the application, yeah I know I'm all applied and this is the waiting period...but I just retook my SAT, and I'M REALLY hoping that this improves my chances (if i wouldn't turn these in, i'd have a 1680...i know cry cry it's horrid, but hopefully this'll be a 1950+.) Now, say that I actually don't even break a 1900, would a potential vocal performance major have it a little easier or not? Or would well-written essays cover up for any interestingly low scores? Not that mine are perfect, which they sure aren't, but I'm hoping that maybe their uniqueness could spark some interest? Feedback is greatly appreciated!!

How's your GPA?

well, I won't give senior year because it...totally sucks. actually fine, lol,

Junior Year

UW = 3.80, W = 4.059

Senior

UW = 3.77 W = 4.088

It's going to be tough, but if you showed the same passion as you do on these forums in your essays, then I wouldn't count you out.
We're kind of in the same boat except my major flaw is my gpa/ranking, so I'm rooting for you.
Good luck and hopefully we'll see each other at NU next yr.

By the way, i dont think majoring in voice would help. the music program at NU is v. competitive.

oh great! Well, I know that but I mean, by the "audition" because that counts a lot. maybe that would outweight some flaw blah lol.
