What does St Olaf do with end of year grades? What kind of grades would one need to have them rescind your admission? Have the rescinded admission in the past?
Any insight would be helpful.
This is what my school counselor has told me in general: Don’t get D’s and F’s, these are grounds for having your admission taken away and I believe St. Olaf does do this. Try not to get C’s, colleges won’t like them but its not a huge deal. B’s are fine, A’s are great!
I think you are misleading a bit. Colleges are extremely hesitant to rescind admission and leave an admitted student high and dry with no college to attend. Barring a felony arrest or expulsion, even a bad (D,F) grade in one subject isn’t going to get you booted out. You may get a letter asking you to explain why you had a slump, but if otherwise your record seems solid, I would not freak out.
