<p>Here's my opinion, there's absolutely nothing wrong with rap, it's a musical genre just like classical music, gospel, R&B, rock, and pop. The problem lies within the no-talent artists who decide to just make songs about absolutely nothing. What's actually nauseating about that is that they get rich of these songs because some people find it "entertaining". On the other hand, there are some talented rap artists who make songs that are worth listening to and deserve all the credit, fame and fortune they get because they've earned it.</p>
<p>Exactly. Rap used to be good 10 years ago. Artists like Tupac, Biggie, and Bone Thugs were great. Underground rap is still pretty good, but the mainstream stuff is complete garbage. You can't honestly think rappers who say the SAME THING over and over for 4 minutes and have horrible rhymes are actually good. </p>
<p>Also the lyrics are disgusting. All they talk about is sex, drugs, and how SWEET they are. They're arrogant pieces of ***** who make up how "horrible" their life was in the "ghetto." I don't want to sound like an old guy here, but they're pretty corrupting for our society. Think of how many kids idolize these fools. </p>
<p>They don't even use proper grammar or actual words half the time too. It isn't because "it's their culture, they want to make it flow better" no.... </p>
<p>They're just idiots. Listen to Tupac and you'll hear actual words, some are actually pretty advanced words. It didn't seem to stop him now did it.</p>

<p>If you guys are arguing about how lil jon(person that made crunk energy drink) and how rap as a whole is "garbage" then you're dumb. lil jon's music is'nt even considered rap, and he himself says he's not a rapper. He's well known for producing beats for other artists, so it's dumb to say he has no talent. </p>
<p>And yes I do know that most mainstream rap is garbage, but I still think that some is still good. And the reason I know about "crunk juice" is because I am into hip hop/rap, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that.</p>
