Hey all. Have any of you have taken any fun/interesting liberal arts that are not incredibly intense that are approved for engineering? I'm open to anything really, just curious what the general consensus is out there.

I really enjoyed Networks (econ/cs/soc/info cross listed) and Communication and Technology…Comm 2450. Both aren’t hard and pretty interesting. Psych 2800 (social psych) is incredibly interesting but you do need to do the reading to do well, which is kind of a lot of work. For all of these, the professors are really great and the lectures are quite stimulating.

HUMAN BONDING by Prof CINDY HAZAN. It’s about human relationships and it’s fun to learn about how people form attachments to others. The grading is picky MC and short responses though so if you can’t memorize facts, take it for pass/fail

I recommend Networks (CS 2850), since it’s relatively mathematical for a liberal arts. Given how many non-engineers are in it, you should have a relatively easy time.
