<p>Although the “honors college” is specific to LSA, there is an honors program within the college of engineering. It is called the Engineering Global Leadership Honors Program. You can apply to EGL at the beginning of your second year, and after you have declared an engineering major.</p>
<p>tetrahedr0n was right in that when you apply as a first-year you can only apply as an engineer, not as an honors student. yeager26 was right in that after your first year you can apply to the engineering honors program, which is kind of a mix in business/international skills.</p>
