Are you applying next year then? If they were just looking at GPA I would say you chances of getting into UCSD are almost 100%. For UCLA and Berkeley I would say your odds pretty low unless you have something else to offer. UC’s unlike Cal states will take the time to read your entire application. They look at upward trends in grades, course loads, how long you were at your cc, academic awards. Find a way to make your self look like an academic badass and you can overcome your 3.63 GPA.

[University of California: StatFinder](http://statfinder.ucop.edu) said that for 2008-2009 (latest year available) that transfer applicants from California community colleges for engineering with 3.60 to 3.79 prior college GPAs had a 45.0% admit rate at Berkeley, 82.4% at Los Angeles, and 94.7% at San Diego. However, selectivity likely varies between different engineering majors (electrical engineering is probably more selective than most engineering majors) and likely has increased since then, so consider your actual chances to be lower.

GPA Cutoff for UCLA ME was approximately 3.91 this year; UCSD ME transfer admitted GPAs averaged 3.78. Of course major is different, but a relative range might be useful for comparison.

For UCSD you’re definitely in, but your chances for LA and Cal are much lower.
