Engineering at Fairfield

Does anyone have any information on how the engineering programs are at Fairfield compared to other similar sized schools?

I happened to email admissions about engineering two days ago, regarding my son. They told me that their engineering program has about 55 students in it a year (I’m assuming that that is per class and not for all four classes).

Admissions also mentioned that they have a co-op program, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering and automated manufacturing.

55 students a year is obviously small, but there can be pluses and minuses to that.

Anyone who has additional information about Fairfield’s engineering program can help us both out.

fairfield has a co-op program with columbia university in engineering (as well as Uconn)…its beyond tremendous…

Can anybody expand on their post or talk more about this engineering program? I just visited Fairfield and really liked the campus, but I would like to know if it is a well respected program, since it is so small.
