Engineering Honors

Tuition covers up to 18 units.

The freshman honors engineers take 19 units because of an extra seminar. I remember them saying something at orientation about the fee for that extra unit being waived.

However, looking at my financial statement on Oasis, there is a "unit rate tuition" charge for $1121, which I am assuming is that extra honors engineering unit.

I need to get this off my bill. Do I need to do anything?

Anyone know what I'm talking about out there in Trojan land?

Yeah...you should call the engineering department and explain your situation...they might just tell you to wait until next semester to take the honors seminar, you only need to take it for 4 semesters over 4 years...

yea you should email erika at echua - at usc dot edu

if they don't waive it, you can always drop the honors seminar and take it another semester when you don't have 18 units
