@meriks no, only engineering majors get it and even then, 25℅-40℅ of those accepted to engineering get it

Ya for engineering I don’t think they move to people’s second choices too often, whether they get a letter or not. You either get in first choice or don’t get in, generally speaking of course, always exceptions I suppose. So I would assume first choice, that is how it worked for us.
Yaayyy got the likely letter too. I applied for Electrical Engineering. And no, if you don’t get the letter that doesn’t mean you’re rejected. Like somebody said, 25-40% of the top applicants get em, so the majority of people who are eventually accepted don’t receive them. But anyway, decisions are tomorrow.
It’s actually not top stats, remember they are more holistic than others, there is something they liked on the app. Could be the essays drew them in. So some with not the highest scores will get letters fwiw.
Guess we’re going to find out for sure in about half an hour!
