Engineering Open House

<p>Who went to the open house yesterday? I went and had an awesome time! It gave me a more informed opinion of UVA engineering, and I might just choose to make my deposit there. I'm currently trying to decide between UVA and VT engineering. I was accepted to both last Friday, and I couldn't be happier :)</p>

<p>What did you all see and do when you were there? Honestly, I spent most of my time talking to the students and basically launching full scale interrogations about why I should choose UVA engineering over VT engineering :-? </p>

<p>I attended with my HS Sophomore DS. We were both impressed. He still has not narrowed down what engineering discipline he wants to pursue. The liberal arts opportunities were not selling points for him. He has not ruled out UVA but he may feel more at home at a more traditional engineering school. </p>
