I’m interested in the STEM field and I decided for sure that I will study something in that field, but I can’t really decide whether I should apply for engineering or natural sciences. (some of my schools have separate colleges for the two and I have to choose a specific college)
As for grades, I have very good grades for math and chemistry and physics is not as good but still solid. I have an 800 in both SAT I math and SAT II math level 2, and my physics subject test from last time was 740 but I retook it this June (also took chemistry) and expect a much higher score. Not expecting as much for chemistry, but probably be over 700 I think.
I never took biology because my school system didn’t allow timetable block for another science. But I took computer science as third science (all IB courses, all HL except computer science)
I personally really like physics and math. I like “dry sciences” more than “wet sciences” and I’m not interested in medical sciences. I want to study something with a lot of math, physics, and computer science, but I also want to research and make new things.
Should I go into engineering or natural sciences?
Also if I switch my mind at university is it easy to change?
Thank you
