Engineering Programs

Would you guys say that is easier for females to gain admission to engineering programs, like, say, the Carnegie Institute of Technology?

I've noticed that the female to male ration is something like 1:3 at many engineering schools, so I was wondering whether or not being female would make it easier to gain admission, in the universities attempt to create a more even ratio between the sexes...

It can be a plus to be a female interested in engineering.

yes it is easier for women to gain admission over men in what i would refer to as ratio-challenged universities.

I don't quite understand it, women are given both an advantage in getting admitted to a top university and then an additional advantage when looking for a boyfriend. Boys have a limited amount of women to choose from, we should get an advantage somewhere!!

LACs, which are ratio-challenged in the opposite direction.
