Engineering Route to Business

is it just better to pick either engineering or business...or is this degree actually good in terms of getting job offers str8 outta college?

btw.. im gonna do premed too and yeah i was just wondering what kinda jobs i could get with an ERB degree if i cant get into med school

pick either engineering or business depending on what you’re interested in, some random introductory engineering classes when you get your business degree isn’t gonna impress any employers, don’t bother with ERB. If you wanna go business do something like accounting, finance, marketing, or something else traditional and interesting to you (except for management).

dont do marketing

it seems like the erb people still get paid, but i would still go with mis.

How does mccombs manage do stay so high in the rankings when the average student’s SAT score is like 1240?

^^^ My SAT was 1300 and I got denied from McCombs, but thats probably because I’m out of state. (DAMN YOU 10% RULE)

It doesn’t matter at this point because I want to do Engineering instead now. :)

Rankings are based entirely upon peer review. Student achievement metrics then do not have immediate impact on ranking.

How do they get such a good peer review score? Do they have a phenomenal staff working with students that are clearly not at the caliber of other top schools?
