<p>Does anyone know if the engineering scholarships offered are guaranteed or competitive?</p>

<p>They are assured for stats. If you apply to the school, you apply for scholarships (both by Dec 1), you have the stats and you list an engineering major or comp sci as your major, you get the engineering scholarship (and any university scholarship that you also qualify for.).</p>

<p>I applied Saturday. I am NMSF, 1490 SAT, #1 in my class of 290. It’s good to hear that it’s assured. Alabama is sounding pretty good to me.</p>

<p>Well, you’ll get it all. Congrats!</p>

<p>You’ll get the big NMF scholarship and you’ll get the 2500 per year for engineering (if you put engineering as your major).</p>
