Engineering/Science Colleges to apply to?

Hey, So I finished my 12th grade last year and took a drop to prepare for IIT(You know how it goes here in India). Thing is, I'm not expecting to get into IIT, but I was planning to take the TOEFL, SAT and SAT subject tests(Phys and Maths 2) this year, and I'm sure I can easily score high on all three. So can anyone suggest a list of colleges to apply to if I expect AT LEAST 2200-2300(dunno, even a perfect score) in SAT and quite good scores on the other two tests too? I'd appreciate it if the college offered need-based aid, because i'm in no condition to pay the complete fees. Oh, I forgot to mention the courses I'd like to take:
Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering or Engineering Physics/Physics(science). Either of the three.
And yeah, I'd also appreciate if you guys can help me with the list of things I need to apply to any college. I already know about CommonApp, the recommendations, a high school transcript...anything else?

Thanks.

hey, I’m in the exact same situaion as you. Just finished my 12th. PLan to take a gap year to repeat for IIT and take the SAT’s as well. Its good to know I have company. I am in head filled tension. What are you doing for extra-curricular activities??

do not worry am also in the same situation. @Hrithu‌ what ECs you doing. I am planning to open up a company. I dont have olympiad medal so i know my chances are negligible.

If your scores are going to be that high, check out Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It’s a bit pricey, but you should be able to get in, and it has a very good Aerospace program

ummm … @Violet1996 , You mind giving a reply to my earlier post … and guys, If you have any information, just keep posting…
