I am applying for a Bachelor of Arts degree, but would I be penalized if I attached a gratuitous Engineering essay anyway?

Extra material for evaluation, perhaps? Or would I simply look like an intellectual pain-in-the-ass?

I wouldn’t send in an extra essay.
Some colleges (Harvard, Yale) give you space to tell them “anything else you feel will help your application be better understood.”

Given Princeton’s massive supplemental essay already, I would think that they would not appreciate an extra essay to read.

Unless it is AMAZING of course

-
Chance me?
“Sorry for another chances thread, HYPS”

Don’t do it. If you aren’t smart enough to read the instructions the adcoms won’t think you’re smart enough to go to Princeton.

I’m guessing the adcoms would not be thrilled.

Too late. I’ve already attached and submitted a gratuitous poem on Pandas.

Panda, Panda, what a sight!
Munching, crunching, black and white…

Never before has a passion for engineering been more cogently expressed =)
