Engineering Tuition going up?

Ouch. I just happened to read one of the recent postcards that came in the mail. An extra $4k per year right around junior year. That puts a twist on my decision as an OOS. Looks like business and nursing student will get hit as well but not as bad.

Can you confirm this please? Cost is a major issue and I thought the “differential tuition” comment that I heard at yesterday’s decision day was the explanation for a 1000 difference between the tuition and fees on my son’s admission notification and the one used by the presenter at the financial aid session. If not, I suppose I will have to write the engineering school for details.

Yes it is true tuition did go up my son is a in engineering and his rate went up 3,500 per year

See link for additional charges. Engineering is affected the most. My tuition, room, and board for an OOS in 2018-2019 is $48k based on the finaid package I received. I’m not even sure that includes the differential charge.
