Engineering vs Business

I'm currently in engineering for JMU, but JMU isn't much known for engineering and it does not have aerospace which I wanted to do after I came here. What should I do? Should I try to transfer to a different school with aerospace, I want to be airplane mechanic, or should I just switch to accounting major which I also had interest ,but it was my second choice major. I mean JMU is known for business so I'm thinking about it. I'm currently freshman and going in first year in engineering and I like it. it's just that JMU doesnt have aerospace and engineering major in JMU isn't good, but the thing is also that I want to be a business minor and math minor which I could do here if I stay with engineering. Give me some suggestions. I'm thinking about Tech for transfer ,but I head their business is not good which is what I want to minor.

You don’t need to go to college to be an airplane mechanic. I think even an Aerospace Engineering Technology degree would overqualify you for that.

So what should I do in my situation LOL.

Have you looked at what qualifications employers are looking for in prospective employees? If not, do so: [Basic Requirements to Become an Aircraft Mechanic](http://www.faa.gov/mechanics/become/basic/)

Want to go to a school for training to be an aircraft mechanic? [Federal Aviation Administration - Maintenance Schools](Federal Aviation Administration - Maintenance Schools)

In fact, the whole site is good: Mechanics[/url”>http://www.faa.gov/mechanics/]Mechanics

If you want aerospace engineering, transfer.

If you want business, stay.

So to be an aerospace mechanic should I get a engineering degree at either JMU or Tech and go in to the work field they want me to or go to the technician college?

You know my opinion, but I doubt getting a college degree would hurt… my only point is that it might not help much.
