engineering

Is there a web site that tells you what prereqs to take in community college in order to transfer to usc's engineering school?

I’d strongly suggest you e-mail the USC admissions counselor that would cover your area to find out which of the courses you are considering might transfer. This was very helpful to our D who attended a HI CC and was able to have most of her coursework transfer (but she was NOT an engineering major). I’d contact Viterbi & ask which counselor you should confer with at USC. If you’re currently enrolled in a CA CC, I believe they have an articulation agreement with USC–ask the counseling staff at the CC you’re considering attending. Good luck!

Viterbi makes it really easy for students to find out the exact classes they need to take at a CA CC in order to transfer to engineering at USC. USC has set up a “Transfer Planning Guide” that tells students specific classes at CC’s that transfer to major requirements at USC. [USC - Viterbi School of Engineering - Transfer Planning Guides](http://viterbi.usc.edu/admission/transfer/guides.htm) has all the instructions, all you need to know is the community college you are attending, and the major you wish to pursue at USC!

If you have any other questions feel free to email me at vstudent@usc.edu and I’ll try to answer them as best I can!
