<p>I'm interested in Creative Writing and Studio Art. Can anybody tell me if the Vandy English Department/Creative Writing program and the Studio Art program are good?</p>
<p>Well, I dunno about good, but Vandy English does have some history. The schools "hosted" the Fugitives and Agrarians. As I'm no English buff, I don't really know much that means, if anything. Also, several Vanderbilt graduates were Poets Laureate, but I think that group overlaps the Fugitive and Agrarian entourage.</p>
<p>The Studio Art program just got a brand new facility behind Branscomb, so its definitely not neglected; it's just not the biggest thing at Vanderbilt.</p>
