When I look at the requirements for first year engineering at Purdue it says I must take one English class and one Comm class. I got a four on the AP test for language and composition, and I will be taking the AP test for literature and composition later this year. I’m also about to begin Comm 102 at Ivy Tech. This may be a dumb question, but I’m gonna ask it anyway. Will these classes completely replace the two classes from first year engineering? If it does replace them, then will I just have two less classes than many other students, or will I be forced to take something else? Thanks.
