Does anyone know about the English or Creative Writing Programs at the following schools:
Seattle University
Fordham University
Loyola Marymount University
Santa Clara University
Loyola University Chicago
Boston College

Do any of them have better reputations in their English departments than others? Are there many chances for students to get internships during the academic year? Is the curriculum challenging? Anything else you could tell me about these English programs would be great! If you know about even one of these colleges, please give me some info! Thank you!!!

Thanks for the suggestion, but it's too late for me to apply to schools. The ones listed above are the colleges I was accepted to, so I'm just narrowing down my decision now. Also, I'm still keeping University of Arizona open as an option, so if anyone knows about their english department, let me know. I just would prefer to go out of state, which is why I didn't include UofA in my original question.

If I were you, and I was accepted to those schools I would go to BC. English and creative writing is pretty much the same wherever you go for undergrad imo. Also, you don't want to go to a college just for one major. BC looks like the most prestigous school on your list, so that's where I think you should go. Not to mention they have a lot of school pride, everyone I know there loves it.

Hmmm... I would contact the departments at the schools and make a phone appointment with the undergraduate advisers. Prep a list of questions in advance (things important to you) and compare after a question/answer session.

I'm also sure that each of those schools can connect you with a student adviser in the English dept. to give you the student perspective.
