<p>How is the English major here?</p>
<p>We were at the accepted students open house this past weekend. The professor at the college of arts and sciences mentioned the english department was excellent and internationally known. We didnt visit any the dept tho…my son will be an economics major, although my other son will be attending UB in 2 years and will be a english major. He seemed pretty impressed with the english department and his other choice is NYU.</p>
