<p>Hi, I'm an international student wanting to major in English with an emphasis in creative writing. I'm going to a community college in Texas this Fall and will transfer to another university. The questions is: Which university has good English programs with tuition fee being very affordable (since international students usually have to a pay a lot more than locals)? I don't mind it being a state university. I would be grateful for any answers.</p>

<p>You'll get a much better response if you re-post this question in the "College Search" forum. Right now you are in the "arts major" forum, which is very specialized. The people who regularly come to this forum are interested in, and most knowledgeable about, visual and performing arts (studio art, design, dance, drama, etc.) English and creative writing programs don't fall into this category, but I'm sure there are people who will answer your question in under "College Search."</p>
