<p>English is very strong here. I’m an English major, and I absolutely love the department. In addition to being able to do a creative writing “track” within the department, you can do a creative thesis (i.e. you can write a novel or screenplay). Some actually get their creative work published after they graduate to jumpstart their career. I’m sure that article PtonGrad2000 linked to talks about our impressive creative writing faculty…they’re nothing to sneeze at.</p>
